Melinda graduated from Curtin University in Perth with a Bachelor's Degree in Science (Physiotherapy) in 2000 before heading to the Pilbara town of Karratha and working for the West Pilbara Health Service and in private practice. This was followed by three years in the United Kingdom where she worked in hospitals and community health. On her return to Australia, Melinda completed her Master's Degree in Manual Therapy at the University of Western Australia in the School for Musculoskeletal Studies and became a physiotherapist and health advisor for mining giant Rio Tinto.
During the 10 years of motherhood - she has two children - Melinda has continued to work in private practice while focusing on Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Vestibular Rehabilitation and Clinical Pilates.
She has engaged in and presented at various training courses and conferences run by world leaders in Vestibular Rehabilitation. She also is a provider of vestibular physiotherapy services to the Ear Science Institute Australia and at Karrinyup Physiotherapy Centre.
When not working and spending time with her family Melinda enjoys training for and competing in triathlons, with the highlight to date being her Busselton Ironman finish in 2016.

About David Hennessy
David graduated from Curtin University in Perth with a Bachelors Degree in Science (Physiotherapy) in 2004. Upon graduating David worked in private practice for 3 years before commencing work in the hospital setting. David has been working as a Senior Emergency Department Physiotherapist since 2010 where he primarily assesses and treats patients presenting to the emergency department with vertigo.
In addition to his work in the emergency department David has been working at Best Balance Physiotherapy since 2020 where he has further honed his skills in vestibular rehabilitation. David has also completed post graduate certificate in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and several post graduate courses in vestibular rehabilitation.
Melinda has over 15 years' experience as a Physiotherapist, she is a titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and a specialist in Vestibular Rehabilitation.
